The opportunity

We are looking for a Business Onboarding Analyst to join our team. This role offers you the opportunity to learn, grow and build a career.

What you will be doing

You will be assisting our team of Business Onboarding Analysts, ensuring that new customer onboardings are executed timeously and accurately. Along with helping provide customers with an awesome first experience, you will use your out-of-the-box thinking skills to help improve and standardize business processes.
Here is what your day-to-day would look like:

  • Collate and process data from various external sources
  • Data analysis, clean up, and standardisation
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Ensure the ongoing success of new clients
  • Identify opportunities to drive product refinements to continuously enhance the customer experience.

Who you are

You are an out-of-the-box thinker, a brilliant multi-tasker, have a natural aptitude for organizing and are always keen to solve tricky problems with some creative ideas. In your everyday life, you inspire change and believe that there is always a better, easier way to do everything (yes, everything!). You are analytical and strategic and always consider the bigger picture. Through some weird cosmic twist of fate, you also like prepping and analyzing large amounts of data in Excel spreadsheets. You have strong interpersonal skills and push people to be the best version of themselves.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, or related field (required)
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience in an accounting position (required)
  • Working experience in the South African financial services/financial planning industry (preferable)
  • Experience using online software tools will be highly advantageous
  • Proven experience working with large datasets and pattern identification.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Highly adaptable to a variety of software, tools, and programs
  • Hungry, resilient, and motivated to succeed
  • Self-motivated and proactive, yet a team player
  • Detail-orientated and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
  • Organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Afrikaans)
  • Some of the attributes we look for in a person are:
  • The ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships
  • The ability to ‘approach and own’ and continuously look for opportunities to develop
  • Ability to recognise and embrace change
  • A client focused and collaborative approach
  • Intellectual curiosity
